Shocking Pricing

<p>I was referred to Lancet for allergy testing. They drew blood and then proceeded with various tests on my arms. The tests on the arms consist of them making a tiny incision in the skin, in 10 different spots. A single drop of various liquids ranging from cat to grass to dust mite is placed on the open skin. You then sit for 20 minutes and wait to see the reaction to determine various allergies. Now, this is all fair enough, but please tell me Lancet how you justify over R2000 of medical savings going towards this procedure?!?!</p> <p> </p> <p>It is absolutely disgusting how the medical industry is consistently ripping the public off. </p> <p> </p> <p>My advice for anyone doing this allergy test, find an alternative!</p>
