Scary Experience
What a scary Experience, and you would not expect this from Lancet especially a company in business for more than 60 years.
We get to the labs at Rochester place in Sandton, firstly feeling extremely uncomfortable the employees do not even know how to greet the patients properly , make it seem like it is an inconveience to assist us.
Eventually we filled some docs and went to the admin clerk thereafter we were directed to the room where the test was going to be done.
My fiance sits on the chair , the "Nurse" that was conducting the test did not have a name tag on did not even look like a qualified nurse , he did not even speak and communicate like one.
The nurse is supposed to wear gloves from the time he starts touching the clients arm however this nurse did not. First red flag eventually he put the glove on to conduct the blood test. He inserted the needle and the blood squirted I asked him I said why did the blood squirt like that he could not provide me an answer in English or even communicate the reason to me.
He was so non chalent about it which scared me because if that can happen he can injures o many people. Once the test was done he took his gloves off and then puts the plaster but was touching the part that needs to go on the patients arm red flag again I had to ask him for another one, and he was shocked when I asked him for another one.
Please lancet you need to look into this , not a good experience especially from a Lab that is known to a lot of people.
If I was not mistaken his name was Bonginkosi , I mean he did not have a name tag on so that does not help much
