Reported to ITC for non-payment-no statement sent
A claim submitted to my medical aid (Discovery) in October 2015 has been reported to the ITC. After receiving MMS's from Lancet Laboratories, that I was unable to open, I contacted them to explain that I have not received an email statement and my phone cannot open MMS'. The lady whom i spoke to told me the email was sent to an email address for my father (who is nowhere listed on my medical aid, whose email account has not been valid for over 5 years, and whose details were never entered on the hospital paperwork). They assured me that a statement would be emailed to me within 5 working days. This email has to date never been received, after a further two requests. The ITC contacted me last week, as I have now been reported for this non-payment, and after explaining the above, they promised to email me the statement, this has also not been done. When phoning Lancet themselves, the phone eventually goes to voicemail and when leaving a message with your details and reference number, nobody returns the call. After all of this how can i be expected to make payment/reported to the ITC, when I do not even have the statement, payment details, etc, after requesting it several times?
