Payment outstanding for unauthorised tests!!!

On the 17th of November 2014 I was admitted to hospital with suspected malaria. The specialist attending to me requested specific blood work to be done. On receipt of my statement from my medical aid I immediately noticed that there were two amounts which were rejected by my medical aid. On quering this with them I was advised that the tests were not requested by the specialist and that Lancet was requested to reverse the charges. I was also told by my medical aid that I must NOT pay this as Lancet did the test of their own accord and that the specific tests were not even recognised by the medical council! Many sms's and telephone calls later from Lancet, I am now in the process of being handed over to ITC. I have emails as well as a copy of the blood test request form in my possession which shows that Lancet is in the wrong, however they continue to bully me to pay for this. I have logged a case with the HPCSA and have been told that the case will take a while to be addressed. Where to next? Do I really have to contact my attorney to have their negligence sorted out??? Enough is enough
