Pathetic and Reckless

In the past few weeks I have been harassed by Lancet due to a blood sample (HB and Insulin) that was taken in Apr2021. According to the accounts department, I need to consult with the Dr who requested the blood test for a motivation as to why the blood tests were requested. This has now resulted in additional costs for a second consultation. This is part of standard care and screening and is absurd to need a motivation for the blood panels and for a patient to follow up with a Dr regarding their medical judgement. In addition, midst a global pandemic it is reckless of Lancet to expect patients to visit a practice for such nonsense!
