Paid for Test which was covered by Medical Aid

With regards to the following statement (ref Y***4), it was found that I had to pay for a blood test that was apparently covered by Discovery Health. According to the statement, the code 3948 (Syphilis Screen) was in fact the incorrect code used when submitting the claim to discovery and IS in fact suppose to be 3949 according to Discovery. I thought I could claim from Discovery but they told me the error was on Lancets side and that they used the 3948 code which app**** to non-pregnant/other individuals. Whereas the code 3949 was specifically meant for pregnant individuals and was covered from their side. Discovery distinguishes the Syphilis Screen blood test with 2 codes namely 3948 (non-pregnant) and 3949 (pregnant). How can Lancet tell me that the code 3949 is not on the system??? <br> You are cheating people who have been told by their doctors that this test is covered for pregnant individuals and is even noted on the pathology form of Lancet UNDER THE PREGNANCY SECTION???
