No Help At All

Good evening,

On the 02/04/2017 I went to Rondebosch Medical Centre and blood tests were done and sent to Lancet laboratories.

Towards the end of April I received an invoice saying that an amount of R1746.80 was outstanding.

A cash deposit was then made at Nedbank in Kenilworth Centre on the 25/04/2017 and no further follow ups were made as I had not been contacted by Lancet again.

Then on the 03/05/2017 my mother was contacted by the call centre saying they had not received payment yet, my mother insited that the payment was made and took down an email address for me to forward payment confirmation to.

We then discovered that the reference number the bank teller added to the deposit slip was 1 digit short.

I emailed it payment confirmation to ********** and received an undeliverable response saying that the recipient was rejecting messages.

My mother contacted the head office the same day to confirm the email address and a consultant confirmed that the address was correct, even spelling it out.

I tried the address again and received the same response, undeliverable. Searched Google and found a ********** address, even that one failed, I have made contact with the call centre numerous times thereafter and have gotten direct email addresses of both Preshen and Zunaid, respectively, all emails still fail with the same error.

I have let these people know that the payment was made but the reference was incorrect yet they say there isn't anything they can do and need me to send proof of payment which was made a whole month ago. I waste airtime, data as well as my time trying to correct it from my side when all it takes is a little bit of effort from Lancet.

My mom has even gone as far as to visit the Lancet office in Gatesville/ Rylands Cape Town and the girl there said she would fax the proof of payment to the head office over a week ago.

This clearly isn't the case as I received another email today saying the payment is still outstanding.

I do not appreciate being harassed and having to go through so much trouble when the contact details advertised by the Lancet website does not even work.

Please have this matter rectified soonest.

Many thanks
