No Feedback

On the 08th August 2017 my dad went to the lab at Milpark hospital. On the 10th my dad received a call from the doctor and according to the blood lab results my dad was told he has a type of cancer. Further blood was taken and after 4 grueling hours my dad was called by the doctor again and told that the lab has advised that the lab has now advised that they have made a mistake.

A weak later we received a bill for the blood tests which were incorrect. We have queried this directly with them and have only received holding responses that the matter has been escalated. Today I received a further notice and SMS advising me that the bill is now 30 days overdue.

At what stage does Lancet revert back to me that on the outcome of the investigation. Why have I received at least three more requests for payment and not one response on the resolution of the very fatal mistake made by the lab. No apology has also been received on the mistake made.

I am hoping this matter will now receive the required attention and feedback will be received. I do not believe this payment should be settled by us if Lancet made the mistake.
