No compensation or apology for Lancet's mistake.

My wife took time off work for a blood test and was assured by Lancet staff that it was covered by her Medical Aid Plan. After traveling a long distance back to work she was then contacted by Lancet to say the tests are not covered by Medical Aid and she must return immediately to pay otherwise the blood test will be invalid and she will have to redo it at her own cost. This caused a great inconvenience and loss of money due to transport costs but she had no compensation or even an apology from the Lab for their mistake. Disgraceful.
