Negligence

Good day. On Friday (1 May 2015) we took our 2 year old daughter to have some bloods done. We got there, did the paperwork, paid and took our daughter in. There were 3 sisters assisting with the procedure and I had my daughter on my lap and they struggled to get a vein. Eventually they did get it and they inserted the needle. In the middle of the whole thing the needle came out and the tubes were not all full so the sister just took the tubes and tried to obtain the blood by putting the tube against the opening oozing with blood. Fine then we were finished and we left.<br> <br> About an hour - 2 later, we got a call from the lab and they said they needed to take 3 tubes of blood but only got two and so we had to return to the lab.<br> <br> This upset us a lot as we thought this nightmare was over. So we went back and they said they had to do the procedure again.<br> <br> This time they took our daughter in and we remained in the waiting area, she was just hysterical and cried right through.<br> <br> This whole process was quiet traumatic for us especially our daughter. We expected professional service. <br>
