Medifam Grayston - Lancet Laboratory

I called Medifam this morning to see if I could come through to do some blood tests. They informed me that i could come through and the nurse was available. I arrived there and waited over 45 minutes for the nurse, only to be told by the receptionist that i should have gone to Morningside! One of the other people there had been waiting for over an hour and a half, the nurse told her that she was not aware that she was waiting.

I had previously gone to Medifam Lancet and made a 9 am appointment only for the nurse to arrive at 9:30am.

I will never go to this branch again, their service is shocking.

Dear Mr Wilson
We firstly apologise for the delayed response.
Secondly, we regret the unsatisfactory service you encountered at Medifam Grayston. Unfortunately, the sister employed at the practice is responsible for the Doctor’s patients. Dr Lacob’s receptionist is responsible for communicating to our Sister for any appointments made. In your case, it seems this was not done, hence our Sister was not aware of the appointment.
Dr Lacob has been informed on this incident and apologises for the inconvenience caused.
Our records indicate that you have visited our Rochester Depot previously. We recommend you rather use this Depot in future as the delays at the Medifam are usually longer due to the volumes of patients attended to at the Centre.
Please accept our sincerest apologies and do not hesitate to contact us directly should you need any further information or assistance.
Warm regards
GM
