Late COVID PCR Test Results

I was scheduled to travel to Lesotho for a research trip and need a negative PCR test. I went through my local clinic, Riverside Cottage in Rondebosch, to get the test which was then sent to Lancet Laboratories. This was done on 3 December 2021 and my flight was scheduled for 5 December. I was assured that I would get the results back within about 24 hours. I did not receive my test results in time and had to pay for a rapid test at the airport. I did not receive my negative test results until 7 December which was well beyond even the 72 hour window for negative PCR tests for travel. The report was even dated for 7 December. I contacted Lancet to complain and to request either a refund or a credit for a future test. Have not received a reply to either request.
