Lancet uncaring

Lancet Rosebank, 8 Sturdee I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from the reception staff. The staff member was rude, dismissive, and made me feel like an inconvenience rather than a patient seeking assistance.

Despite explaining that I do not have medical aid, I was met with zero empathy and a flat refusal to consider any discount on a cash payment for intended blood test costing R10 000. The attitude was uncaring and unprofessional, especially given the financial pressure of paying out-of-pocket.

This experience left me feeling disrespected and unsupported at a time when I needed assistance. I went to Ampath who gave me a warm welcome and a generous discount.
