LANCET LABORATORIES REFUSING RAPID COVID TESTING FOR URGENT SURGERY

This morning at about 8 15am I reported to Lancet laboratories at Chatsmed hospital to conduct a rapid covid test. I am a cardiac patient that has had a Triple Heart Bypass last year and due to some complications I need an urgent surgery to rectify this. I was rejected the test as I am not being admitted in chatsmed but rather Ntabeni Hospital. I don't understand this as I am paying Lancet for a test and not Chatsmed. The hospital and doctors are also confused as to why I was turned away especially during this crisis we having and me needing surgery. I DO HOPE LANCET REFUSING TO DO MY TEST DOESN'T HINDER MY ADMISSION AND THEREFORE PUSHES BACK MY URGENTLY NEEDED SURGERY.

Good morning. Thanks for the reply.
Please can have feedback as this issue has caused its damage already.
I left your test centre on Wednesday so upset and stressed as to how I was to reschedule my plans to get admitted for my procedure that I unconsciously forgot not to take my blood thinners and did.
I went to Ntabeni 3 hrs so I could get the rapid test done their and after admission during questioning by the nurse I remembered taking the blood thinners after my issue at Lancet.

My procedure had to be be postponed as I would bleed out during the procedure due to the blood thinner that need to be stopped for at least 7 day before and I was discharged and need to report next Wednesday and redo the rapid test at additional costs.

Simply inconvenience due to *********** people cause major issues to others, especially people that are not well.

I found out that I should never have been refused the test.

It has been brought to my attention that refusing me covid testing because my urgent procedure isn't being done at the hospital where your test site is, is against the law according to gazetted legislation since the pandemic started.

I feel that this must now be escalated to the CMS as this has now gravely affected my health and well-being, causing Extreme stress, Anxiety, Anguish and Additional Pain due to my Surgery being postponed after the events of the day thanks to Lancet laboratories refusing my testing.
