Lancet bills for tests not requested

<p>Lancet lab has billed me for tests that my Dr has not requested for, their agent confirmed that these tests are done by a verbal agreement with the doctors to bill for, however i need to call my doctor for a motivation letter. </p> <p>if they have a verbal agreement why do i need to call for a motivation. </p> <p>the accounts manager Khaya told me that the patient is responsible as they signed the request form when the bloods were done, however how is the patient responsible for payment if the tests are not on the signed request form?</p> <p>this allows Lancet to charge for any tests they deem fit, whether requested or not and the patient is liable. </p> <p>Lancet lab cannot choose what tests they want to do, and expect clients to pay. </p>
