Lancet Are Inefficient Bullies
In January 2015 I visited Sandton Clinic to address a stomach ulcer. I instructed both the doctors and the attending nurse that I did not have medical aid and would need to settle my bill in full, prior to leaving the clinic, which I did. I was billed for a number of tests provided by lancet. 4 weeks later I received a call from lancet informing me that I had an outstanding bill of approximately R350 - which is ludicrous as we had to make a separate trip to Lancet to settle my account. In spite of this I requested that they email me the invoice so that I could settle. Nothing ever came. A month later I received a second call, and again I requested an invoice. A month later, the same story. On three separate occasions I have requested an invoice which has never been supp**** for tests I paid for at the hospital. Today I received an SMS informing me that I have been blacklisted with the ITC. Are you kidding me? I've been black listed for not paying a bill unknown tests, which I have never been invoiced for. This is entirely unacceptable.
