Incorrect COVID-19 Results
My wife is 38 Weeks Pregnant and as per the Wilgers Life Hospitals in Pretoria regulations we had to both take Pre- Admissions COVID-19 test. Our reference numbers were as follow, for test conducted on Monday 20th of July 2020: L Basson Ref #*** HJ Basson Ref #***
We have been in no contact with anyone in the past 2 ½ weeks, my results came back negative and that of my wife positive. Her test results indicated Positive under the Graphic Result Indicators “Test Result Abnormal”. I send the results to a family member at Pretoria East Hospital for more information without any success. A test should show either negative or positive, not some grey area without anyone knowing if you might turn into The Hul**** We informed Wilgers Hospital and was told that our Medical Aid will not pay for anything if the result is correct.
I immediately sent my wife for a second test after receipt of her results, but at Vermaak Pathology on Tuesday 21st of July 2020. We were just informed by Vermaak Pathology that NO samples of COVID-19 was found in her test results!
The Wilgers Hospital will however still treat my wife as a COVID-19 patient if she goes into labour before our next scheduled COVID -19 tests. I have spoken to my legal representation and will take action against Lancet, if your incompetence results in my wife being treated in any other way
I will give your 24 hours to rectify this problem, or have some Senior Person at Lancet contact me
