Incorrect claim details on statement
I took my son in for stitches to his hand on the 4th of January 2021, at the Lenmed Clinic. At no point at all in our time in the casualty ward was I informed of him needing to do blood or any tests for that matter, by Lancet. I definitely did not consent for it, if it was done. A few days later I received a letter that my medical aid had rejected a payment claim that was billed by Lancet and when I looked into the statement I found that all details with regards with what I was billed for was incorrect and that could be why my medical rejected paying them. The statement read that I (me being the patient) had taken a test on the 7th of January 2021. I was never at the clinic on that day nor was I even seen by clinic staff on that day or even after that. I have sent countless emails and also told every consultant that has called me from the accounts department of the incorrect details reflecting on the statement and to this day, after being told my matter has been escalated, no feedback has been given. What annoys me now is that I have been handed over to a collections company for a matter I deem unresolved. Meaning I must now be bul**** into paying this up so that my credit record isn't messed up I find this totally unfair and *********** of Lancet. If your claim from me is legitimate just provide the correct details and resolve the matter.
Best regards,
