Incorrect billing from Lancet but they are handing me over for R92.92

On 02/05/2017, My mum, sister and I went in to Lancet Laboratories at Chatsmed Life Hospital for our annual chronic blood tests. I had to then endure hardship upon hardship due to Lancet in-competencies. 1. The receptionist who processed our tests was complaining the whole time to our faces as he had to process cash tests and tests to medical aid which fell under our chronic benefit. He was extremely rude and had no sense of customer service. 2. In July I receive an email statement informing me, I owe them money for tests done for my mom and sister which medical aid short paid for. I then called discovery to query and I was informed that Lancet claimed on incorrect codes. 24/7/2017 at 10h30 I called Damon at the Lancet Durban account office informing him of this and I even provided him with the correct codes which medical aid require. He assured me that the correct amendment will be made and the correct claim will be sent to medical aid. He informs me that this process takes 2-4 weeks to be actioned. 3. 11/8/2017 I receive a new statement stating, I now owe them money for test which medical short paid for myself. I subsequently called discovery again on 28/8/2017 to query and was informed that incorrect codes were utilised again. To date discovery had not received any amended claims for my mom and sisters tests that was queried in July. 4. 28/8/2017, I then called Lancet Durban accounts office and spoke to Taariq and re explained the whole situation and provided him with the correct codes for all the claims pertaining to my mom, sister and I and asked him to reprocess the claims with the correct codes (I10 and E78.5) so medical aid can pay accordingly. These codes had to be utilised specifically as they were being paid from the chronic illness benefit. He then tells me that this will take a further 2-4 weeks to be executed. 5. On 5/10/17, I receive a sms stating I have been handed over to ITC-BA by Lancet for the amount of R92.92.

I do not understand, how it is that I am at fault and fall under an account that needs to be handed over when the whole issue has risen from Lancets side. Their incorrect billing and *********** ways have resulted in the account being not paid for such a long time. I have provided them with all of the relevant information, explained what needs to be done in order for them to be paid and they cannot execute this.

This is their whole fault and now I need to bear the brunt of it. This is pathetic service with no customer priority. This whole experience has solidified the fact, that I nor any other family member of mine will ever use Lancet Laboratories ever again.
