Incorrect Billing

Someone sharing the same name and surname as me did tests with Lancet in September 2017. My medical aid number was used.I have been receiving sms's and emails from Lancet that I need to pay for test that I have never done. Tests were done in JHB and I stay DBN and haven't been to JHB. When phoning the doctor that referred the patient they confirm that they don't have any of my details with them and they do have a patient with same name and surname as me who is a regular patient of the doctor. How is it possible that my details ended up being used by Lancet. I was born in 1977 and the patient is born in 1985 with 2 different medical aid numbers. Why should I pay for something I don't know? How long does it take to investigate such incident. Everytime I receive the emails and the sms's I call the JHB number ********** 875 and not getting any joy since the matter has not been resolved
