*********** STAFF IN BANKING DIVISION

I had tests done and my medical aid paid R1,656.70 and I had to pay the difference of R773.50. I paid this amount in three instalments, R400-00, R200-00 and R173-50 respectively. The accounts dept allocated the first two payments but failed to allocate the last payment of R173-50, which they have since handed over to debt collectors. I have called and emailed through proof of payments since July last year but nothing has been done to rectify the account. This morning I received an sms informing me that I've been listed as a defaulter. What else can I do after submitting proof of payment to both Lancet and their debt collectors? Each time I call I get told the proof of payments have been forwarded to their banking department for allocation but a month or two later another call or sms or email will come through. PLEASE EMPLOY COMPETENT PEOPLE WHO CAN ALLOCATE PAYMENTS FROM THE BANK STATEMENT. IF THEY COULD PICK UP THE FIRST TWO PAYMENTS HOW CAN THEY NOT PICK UP THE LAST ONE?
