incompetence at its best

<p>I first had blood tests done on the 11th of April and paid cash for one test, the monies were not allocated timeously and the tests were not done. My doctor informed me of this on the 10th of May at my follow up appointment. It took lancet about 45 mins to find my payment. I then went for more blood tests , including a fasting one as per my initial one, on the 12th of may. I was called by lancet on the 16th who said my blood was insufficient and that I had to go back and have more blood drawn. I went back that afternoon and the nurse confirmed with someone from lancet that the bloods taken on the 12th were correct, nonetheless more blood was drawn. I was called again on the 17th with the same story saying the blood was insufficient, I was highly upset and later confirmed that the blood was insufficient, lancets communication internally definitely needs work. I asked for my results and had asked if the fasting results were done on the correct blood taken on the 12th, I was told that it was not. I spoke to a supervisor on the 21st who assured me that the correct blood was used, I queried where the results were as it was 9 days later, she said she would get back to me... I'm still waiting,!!! I have had such an unpleasant experience, my outstanding results had delayed my diagnosis and treatment. .. its so unfortunate that we are forced to use lancet </p>
