Hi In May i had to do normal thyroid bloods in lockdown, i could not use a normal lancet lab and had to go to the krugersdorp depo. Where a normal healthy person has to stand in lines with the people thinking they have covid. The lancet staff requested R1430 to be paid upfront. Which i thought was odd but like a good citizen i did pay. My bill came and to my shock i have to pay R2590. When i enquired they said initially its additional tests that was done. I enquired again and then they said that they never got my payment of R1430 the day i did my blood. So this is definitely a case where the lancet staff is using a crisis to ***** from people. I will never use lancet services in my life again and i will make sure the world knows about how people are yet again ****** from.
