Handed over to ITC without a request for Payment 1st!

I was admitted to Entabeni Hospital on the 21 Nov 2017, a Blood test was done by Lancet Laboratories. No request for payment was emailed / posted to me afterwards. Discovery only sent through the list of Claims & payment's made.

Discovery made payment on the 06 Dec 2017 to Lancet Lab., and they did not see a claim from Lancet Laboratories (Dr Mauff and Partners) for the outstanding amount that they were requesting from Me.

I contacted Discovery Med. Aid. and they stated that Lancet Lab. need to re-send the Claim to them so that they can make payment for the oustanding amount claimed.

Is Lancet Laboratories trying to swindle us out of our hard earned cash instead of claiming from Medical aid?
