Had to repeat blood test due to staff

I was admitted into Ethekwini hospital in the evening on 09/12. My doctor ordered a GTT test for me. A representative from Lancet came (I did not note her name but I'm sure records can be checked) she explained GTT process to me. I was to stop eating at21.30 on 09/12. The following morning the same lady came to my room at 06.20 for the first bloods. Bloods were repeated at 07.20 and 08.20. Later on when my doctor came to look at results she said that the timing was wrong and that Lancet had not fasted me for 10 hours as they were supposed to. The GTT then had to be repeated. I find this completely unacceptable. I had to re fast, drink horrible glucose and be poked an additional 3 times due to inefficiency of staff member. I will bee reporting this matter to Discovery as I should NOT be charged for the second test.
