Absolutely despicable. I was suddenly presented with a Lancet Lab bill to pay for a Covid Test. I had the test done and paid cash then and there (otherwise I would not have been able to do the test) and suddenly was presented with a statement from Lancet. When explaining and sending them the POP they claimed that it wasn't the correct amount. Was I meant to question what the Covid testing center was charging?

No one informed me that there would be any additional payments required at any stage. They also tried to submit this claim to my medical aid, although why they did is beyond me because I had settled in cash before the test was done.

I tried to call them to sort this out and sent many emails until suddenly correspondence stopped and then I thought it was all sorted but after 8 months of no word they have handed this over and I am being hounded by debt collectors and threatened with various actions.

This is completely unacceptable and frightening and when I try to contact anyone I either am not able to get anyone who can help or they simply do not care and offer no assistance.
