False covid result!!!

If i could give a minus 10 I definitely would

On the 16th of October 2020 I went to visit a doctor

And the doctor advised me that I would need to be admitted

Upon the doctor's request for pre admission I needed to do a covid 19 test

The doctor then gave me a lancet form to fill in and do the test at the hospital

I did the throat swab and the lady who did it was very unprofessional in terms of wiping her hand on her apron

The test was done and then 4 hours later I recieved my results which stated that I was covid positive

To my surprise I rushed home contacted the family members I live with and advised them to come home and quarantine

I contacted my company and advised them as well putting pressure on everybody I was in contact with

I have no symptoms nor do I have a temperature rise

I decided to retest on monday after giving lancet multiple calls to retest me which they had declined

My details were given to the department of health as a covid positive patient

My retest results have come back negative three days after testing positive at this pathetic laboratory

I cannot believe that lancet can play with people's lives and emotions and there absolute disregard for being professional in there area of work

This is absolutely pathetic and caused a major strain on my emotional health making me depressed and loss of income I had to pay for three tests that was done because of the imcompantcy of lancet

This is ridiculous how a major lab in south africa during a world pandemic can get a test wrong!!!!!!!!!
