Disappointing Accounts Department

In July of this year, Lancet Labs had the audacity to claim that a significant amount was owed on my late wife's account. At that time, she reached out to them, explaining that she had been in touch with her medical aid provider, who explicitly requested a change to the ICD code for payment to be processed. This crucial information was communicated to Lancet multiple times, including through emails. Yet, despite this, they continued sending statements for additional tests without bothering to update the ICD codes.

Today, I contacted them again, and shockingly, they still haven't made the necessary changes. Now, instead of rectifying their mistakes and resubmitting the corrected invoice to the medical aid for payment, they want to pursue claims against my wife's estate. This is utterly unacceptable! Very disappointing.

Dear Lancet automated reply. Today is October 14, 2024. I am reaching out regarding the customer complaint reference you provided, which is incomplete and lacks the necessary details. Despite my numerous emails and calls, I have yet to receive a response. I am still facing harassment from your debt collectors due to your accounts department's failure to rectify their errors.

If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter to the ombudsman.
