DEMAND FIR LETTER IF CONSENT FROM A FRAIL PATIENT

I called Lancet Laboratories today the 25 Oct 22 to query an unpaid account for my 79 yr old father who is lying in a hospital bed on 24 hr oxygen who requires assistance to do things I get told by the call desk operator that she requires a letter of consent from my father for me his son/only next of kin/living relative/flesh and blood for me to query the account. My father can't even write never mind send a email like she so requested. I understand the popi act but what if he was in a coma must I get the doctors to wake him up from his coma to send a letter of consent
