Date change fiasco

Procedure was authorised by Discovery and was done on the 8th of Dec, which was a friday afternoon. Samples however were only submitted on the first working day which is the 11th. Discovery rejected the claim and stated that the date needs to be on the same day as the authorised procedure.

Lancet is unwilling to assist to change the date or communicate this with Discovery. The whole procedure, including the testing should be covered by my in-hospital benefits. Surely this can be communicated with Discovery to sort this out? I'm not willing to foot this bill because your administrative system cannot allocate a procedure to a spesific authorised in-hospital event.

It took me hours on the phote to get this sorted. In spite Lancet advising that they wou'd ' Escalate' this and ' make a note on my file' they still handed me over the same week that Discovery settled the account. Thanks for absolutely wasting my time Lancet and causeing me even more of an headache to sort out. ' World class', truly.
