Again, Lancet manages to prove horrific service

In August, without any prior notification I received a text message that an amount of R164 is outstanding and I will be handed over to legal. I had at no point received a call or even the courtesy of an emailed invoice or better still not even a posted invoice.

Apparently I am telepathic and my brain waves are in tune with that of Lancet Laboratories.

I immediately called in to query. Turns out that after leaving my previous organisation and filling out all my updated details on the lancet forms as well as updating with the call centre directly, an email was sent to a mail that no longer exists.

Furthermore, I was promised an invoice to be emailed to me and told it would take a day or two and believe it or not, sine 27 August to date, I have received neither.

Guaranteed, next month I will receive a notice that I was handed over.

Best of all, all of this was on a recorded call.

For every child I have given birth to, Lancet has pulled this stunt. It was almost not a surprise. Amazing that nothings changed in 7 years thus far.

Well done Lancet on awesome service.
