Account manipulated and now handed over to Creditors

Acc V*** ) was handed over to, because of their (Lancets) incompetence. Now I am being flagged for something I didn't do. They billed me R1080.00 as outstanding and not covered by the medical aid. Which I paid and send them proof of payment. Now they have handed me over , because someone in their accounts department didn't do their job. They tell me I owe R244 odd (this value by the way made part of the statement that made R1080,) now they are saying I owe R244.96, saying the medical aid didn't cover but the statement has a balance of R-0.62. Meaning if the monies are paid over to them they will have an access of R245 in their account. Now the monies "supposedly owed" has gone to over R300.00 because of the interest accrued, which has now been handed over to the collections "Scols collections ". I phoned them last month on the 6th of April to discuss this account and I was promised that the manager will get back to me. She never did. I followed up again on last Friday on the 6th of May and I again I was promised that the manager "Chrystal" will call me back to which I am still waiting.

I phoned the collections company that they have handed me over to and spoke to Leon Baloyi - Sustainable collections (title) and he too cant see that I don't owe anything on the statement and keeps persisting that I pay the account but as attached the statement, there is nothing owed to Lancet somebody needs to go do accounting as clearly the statement clearly shows there is nothing owed and if I pay, it will be an overpayment to Lancet

by the looks of all the complaints on this website, I doubt that anyone from Lancet will get back to me or even read this

We firstly apologise for the delayed response on HP – regrettably, due to the Hellopeter web-site being under maintenance, we could not access your post.

Secondly, we regret the account being handed over to SCS under the circumstances. We confirm that we have retracted the account from them and also affirm that all admin costs have been waived. (Should you have received any demands in the interim, please ignore).

The amount of R244.96 has been duly adjusted.

We trust this is in order. A letter affirming closure of account with SCS will follow shortly.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you need any further information or assistance.

Kind regards

GM

I appreciate all that looked into this account and had it resolved. I have gotten confirmation from Adrian Kruger (Resolutions Case Administrator) on the 19/05/2016 and Gabriel Munsami (Customer Communications Manager) on the 21/05/2016, that the account in issue has been corrected and also that the account with the collections agency has been closed. I appreciate all that took the time to look into this and have it resolved
