Account issue

Around 2 weeks ago i received an sms from lancet for an amount they claim was not paid. And the person at the call centre said i must speak to my medical aid. I phoned my medical aid and they said they paid the amount,my medical even phoned lancet to sort things out and basically lancet was being too hasty because the remittance for payments is only sent though every 2 weeks. Does your call centre staff not know this? After all this back and forth i redeived an sms that evening sayig the initial one was incorrectly sent through. Now i was sent another sms with an invoice aaying payment is still due and they now included an amount on the invoice for a procedure that was done this week and i sent through proof from my medical aid saying they paid the initial amount. Payment will only probably be made my the medical aid during the week or so. Looks like i am not the only one experiencing harrasment unnecessarily from you people for accounts from reading the reviews. You guys really need to sort your accounts department and call centre out. I am pregnant and really do not need this stress from you people. I am seriously going to refuse using you guys services from now on...i'd rather stick with ampath because i have never had any issues with them.

Dear Mrs Yusuf
Firstly, we sincerely apologise for the manner in which we have handled your account and regret the inconvenience caused,
Although Bankmed has produced a remittance statement showing that payment was effected to us, we do not seem to have any record of this. Bankmed usually remits bulk payments to us and possibly may have used an incorrect reference number.
We have initiated an enquiry with them which is still forthcoming. We trust that we may have resolution within the next few days. In the interim, we have placed the account on Hold to ensure that no unnecessary correspondence is sent to you.
Thank you for your patience in this matter.
Kind regards
GM
