A Huge thumbs down to Lalla's Tyres

I needed 2 tyres for my little run about a Toyota Yaris 1.3, I called Lalla's Tyres on the 3rd December 2021 and spoke with Naaidoo, he quoted me R650.00 per tyre, I sent one of my son's to take the car immediately, a few moments later a message on my phone from my banking app informed of a R1575.00 purchase at Lalla's tyres, I thought it strange as I was quoted R1300.00 for 2 tyres fitted.

A while later my son arrived with the car, I noticed a missing hub cap, which I had just recently purchased as the car was completely resprayed recently, so I put on new hub caps as the previous ones were a little worse for wear, on questioning my son he gave me a story of how the guys who fitted the tyres told him they had no cable ties to secure the wheel caps and they put it on with a hammer.

On closer inspection, I found the other 3 caps were all cracked, but the one that fell off on the road had been broken completely as my son was handed a broken piece of the cap by the fitters at Lalla's Tyres before he left.

Naturally, I was enraged and I went to see them personally, I must say I was not subtle, I climbed into Naaidoo as he tried to wriggle his way out of the situation even going as far as to blame my son.

The end result was that I left the 3 remaining cracked hub caps with Naaaaaaai dooo and demanded a replacement set, a few days later when my son enquired on progress, they basically told him to go take a dump, as they reported the incident to the police and did not want me visiting their establishment any longer.

Well for a few rands it would cost them to keep a customer happy, they now lost a customer spending 1000's it just goes to show what kind of businesspeople Lalla's tyres are.

I now have no hubcaps on my Yaris, but I will go and buy new ones as Lalla's Tyres has Fu@#&d up my other set. I will definitely not recommend Lalla's Tyres to anyone, in fact, I will say give them a wide berth based on my recent experience, as there are other tyre dealers with even better deals for you. I spent R1000's at Lalla's previously, on my 4x4 my wife's car and some customer's cars I took there for tyres, well this will no longer happen because Lalla's do not care about customer satisfaction.

Use Lalla's Tyres at your own peril, I certainly will no longer.
