Refund

I booked in their guest house for 1 night and it happened that we couldn't check in because we got delayed and I decided to request for cancellation. I was told that I can't get refund because i canceled on the same day,but informed them b4 the check in time even today they are quite. I don't want to reschedule because I only wanted to book dere for that dae.
