Lake, Smit and ******

Hi guys, I have had several bills from Lake, Smit and Partners in the past. When they invoice you they send you a reference No, which I have always put into the bank payment. In spite of this, in every instance they send you an SMS a few months later stating that they have not received payment. I am not exaggerating but they do this every single time! It is so devious - because if you can't remember you may end up double-paying. It then puts the payer under pressure and they have to go back into their accounts and generate proofs of payment. I am writing this because to me this sounds like a dishonest tactic because they then threaten to go legal and that's after you have paid! ***! I eventually found a moment to call one of their ladies and told her I am refusing to generate a POP because the payment was done ages ago. She came up with a ****amamie excuse that banks don't give them all the info so they insist customers supply them with POPs. This sounds so devious and misleading and lazy! They need to stop this! It could also be a scheme by lawyers to generate income! I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this but it's downright ****************.
