Lake, Smit and ****** at a it again!

In Feb this year I wrote on this platform how the above company tactically contacts customers months after they have made payments, informing that they haven't paid their accounts. It has happened to me several times. Lo and behold, after I made the payment in question in Feb this year, they contacted me yesterday (Dec 4) with an SMS saying if I did not pay the account within 7 days they would hand me over. Now note when I made the payment I had put in the reference No for the account. So I called the lady and told them I refuse to provide a POP and that they must track the payment down. I am no ways prepared to scour my payments back to Feb - while they sit on their pretty asses. Guys, this is a horrible tactic and if you somehow cannot remember a payment, you may end up double-paying. Please beware! It's horrible!
