EXTRA CHARGE

Good day, I had a fracture to my left ankle in August 2014. Through many x-rays at Westville Hospital, I had a final x-ray on 16/01/2015. I was there for a distal fibula x-ray which was done. On my way home (I live 10 mins away from Westville Hospital), I was telephoned by the radiology department to come back as the doctor had contacted the hospital to say he wanted another x-ray to be done. (I have been in touch with the doctor today who advises he never received the first x-ray to comment on doing another one).<br> Someone phoned me from the radiology department to have another x-ray which I did within 15 mins of having the first one done. I have not only paid for the first x-ray but have now been sent an invoice/statement to fit the bill for the second one which to me, seems like the first x-ray was incorrectly done.<br> This has not only made the doctor think suspiciously but also the fact he never had the x-ray to comment on having another and it has put me in a predicament with my rapport with the Doctor. I would like this cost to be reversed. I have an x-ray done by recommendation only. The hospital have that form. I can send documentation to this effect if needs be.
