Overbleached Wigs and Unprofessional Service

I sent multiple wigs to this hairdresser for professional customisation services. When I received them back, the closures were over-bleached and structurally compromised, resulting in patchiness, opened parting, and visible damage.

This damage is irreversible and requires full closure replacement. The wigs were originally custom dyed and colour-matched by the supplier, who does not sell closures separately. As a result, the wigs cannot be restored to their original condition or value using closures sourced elsewhere.

Instead of taking responsibility, the hairdresser repeatedly deflected blame, suggested I should have alerted her earlier (despite the damage only being visible once the wigs were removed from packaging and worn), and proposed temporary cosmetic fixes such as blending or glue, which do not address the underlying damage.

I have requested a reasonable resolution in line with the Consumer Protection Act, namely compensation for irreparable damage or a refund plus replacement costs. The matter has been delayed and responsibility shifted multiple times.

I am sharing this experience to warn other consumers and to seek a fair and lawful resolution.
