PERSONAL ITEMS ****** WHILE SLEEPING

On checking in to the Lagoon Beach Hotel in Milnerton, Cape Town we discovered that one of the balcony doors would not lock. After reporting this to Housekeeping who apparently fixed it, we were ****** the evening while sleeping. All our cellphones, tablets, purse and Identity documents were ******.<br> <br> Now the hotel has come back to say that they have not found any forced entry and they will not be liable for the items that were taken.<br> <br> Service on the hotels side was pathetic and now we are being treated like we are the *******. <br> <br> Is this fair and how would I go about taking it further. This incident has not only spoilt my holiday but inconvenienced me and family and added more expense to us.<br> <br> please assist
