LAFARGE BAD CEMENT AND BAD WORKMANSHIP
Hi we are a transport company operating in Wadeville, Germiston, RSA, Last year we contacted Lafarge for cement as we were redoing our wash bay. Their Consultant Sol came out and advised us on the type and qty of creadymix we would require. On the day of the pour the cement was deemed of bad quality and the pour was halted. Lafarge then took it on themselves to remedy the situation by laying the washbay floor for us at no cost to us except for the concrete(great attitude). However the new floor started cracking and has deteriorated even more since then. Lafarge had an independent engineer come out and his reported highlighted many issues with the new floor. Despite on going communication between Lafarge officials and ourselves and promises to redo the floor again we are still waiting. This a process that was originally started in August 2015. To date we are still in communication with Lafarge and still seem to be getting the run arround.
