Molded 12 month mature Cheddar Cheese

I bought a slab of President 12 month mature Cheddar Cheese more than 2 weeks ago. After opening the cheese, found it was molded on the one side. This has never happened as I always buy this cheese as it has a nice nutty taste and it's well worth the money. Wrote to the people concerned, after several emails, said the matter has been escalated to the relevant department, but up to date nobody is responding. What can the problem be, is it too difficult to reply to an email or is it a matter of no interest.? What a bad experience, not even worth 1 star rating and very disappointed.
