Torn golf shirt that I paid R1995 for

I was so highly disappointed and embarrassed recently walked into Lacoste Sandton city and got a golf shirt for my partner. I’ve never tried the brand but always assumed it was a premium brand. I took the shirt off the shelf and paid for it folded I then told the cashier it a a gift so he wrapped it at the back . It was so disheartening when my partner texted to say he arrived in Mpumalanga and opened the shirt to discover that the right armpit was torn . I thought he might have a size issue but never in my dreams did I imagine quality . I was so embarrassed I felt obligated to send a copy of the receipt so the recipient of the gift doesn’t think I got it in Johannesburg CBD or from the Chinese . I might as well seems the quality is that of
