I won't be buying Lacoste Shoes again

I bought a pair of Lacoste Shoes at the Lacoste V&A Waterfront Branch in Cape Town (my 3rd pair of shoes in a row at this store). I wore the shoes twice for probably 2 hours and 4 hours, but by the end of this I felt a very uncomfortable pressure above my left foot's big toe. By the end of the second day, I could hardly walk...

I brought it back to the store (all the way from Gordon's Bay!) in literally still perfect condition (and packaging) and asked for any kind of assistance, but the employees there told me there's nothing that can be done, because I didn't bring it within 7 days and that I've worn it twice (I was honest).

I then emailed their ecomcsza - email address they had on their contact us page, but heard nothing back. I then phoned their helpline and they told me that email address has been suspended and that I should use another one. I resent the email and heard back the same thing: There's nothing that can be done...

I used to be be a big Lacoste client, not anymore...
