De*****ed by Lawyers who claim to assist

<p>We approached Labour Law Services in Oct/November 2016 for assistance with the unfair Dismissal of my wife.</p> <p>The CCMA hearing in this case was finalized on 5 November 2016<br />The agreed settlement payment after deduction of taxes was made by the employer shortly thereafter and proof of the payment was emailed to Labour Law Services. Since then it has been impossible to get any meaningful response from yourselves.<br />SMS's go unanswered.<br />Telephone calls either go unanswered or if one does manage to speak to a consultant the promised action is not forthcoming.<br />On one occasion I had to even call the Cape Town office, who were quite frankly much more efficient and helpful.<br />Emails likewise do not get an acknowledgement.<br />Coming to their offices to personally meet with somebody. In authority is not taken seriously.</p> <p>Copies of the CCMA Settlement and the Proof of payment were emailed and personally given to them.<br />When I met with Desmond , he said they were unable to trace the payment and requested that we send you proof of payment to the accounts email address.. Notwithstanding the fact that email address that heprovided was incorrect, I did copy the other address and clearly indicated that content was for the attention of Desmond.<br />All in all dealing with this company have been very frustrating and very costly for me in terms of my time and 3 trips totally 180kms and Aitime.<br />Our complaint is clearly not isolated as evidenced by the elderly couple who were in your offices when I visited on 18/01/2017<br />They have made 15 calls to your to get their R14000.00 payment.</p>
