Lab 24 pathetic service

Referred to this laboratory for covid test by my doctor over 1 year ago. I am now contacted by a debt collector (vericredit) advising the account is outstanding about a month ago. Surprised by this as lab 24 has never contacted me I have contacted them and requested why has this not been paid by my medical aid. Reasons for why it has not been paid cannot be provided. I requested all necessary details in order for me to take up with the medical aid over 1 month ago without success. Followed up with lab 24 for documentation has failed including the credit collection service, the credit collection service themselves informed they could not provide documentation because they have not received anything from lab 24 yet. All I receive is calls and sms messages requesting payment but not one document to date despite several request. What a mess!!! After getting harassed with phone calls and messages from debit collectors, the best reassurance Lab 24 can give me is to not worry I will not get blacklisted!!! Totally appalled by their service and the way they have handled this matter! I would not advise anyone to go to Lab 24 as they are not even cheaper than other providers. On top of all of this and the fault being on their side they are still charging me interest due to the account not being paid, considering I was not informed.
