La Vita Spa - Misleading advertising

Booked a Mother and Daughter Bonding Package and was absolutely floored to have learnt that the price is R1300 PER PERSON (R2600 per couple) rather than R1300 per couple as anticipated.

I feel that your advertising is extremely misleading since the brochure states the package as “Mother and Daughter Bonding...R1300”. It then goes on to explain the treatment offerings and only, after this explanation, does it state that the price is “per person”. While I understand that it has been an oversite on my part, I do feel that I have been misled by the fine print. We had also discussed the prices with the ladies at the Spa as we were comparing packages and in no way did they clarify that it was a total of R2600 - some packages were advertised per couple and some packages were advertised per person which was extremely confusing!

Further to this, the treatments and facilities were acceptable if we had paid R1300 per couple but certainly not up to the standard for R2600 per couple. My gown was tattered at the rope, loops on the gown were cut and hand towels in the bathroom were dirty.

I expected to leave the spa feeling, relaxed and rejuvenated however I left feeling shocked, mislead and getting far less than my money’s worth.

Extremely disappointing experience...
