cancelltion

on the 28 08 2015 i received a call from a La Vida lifestyle call centre agent (Zodwa) and she told me i was nominated for their program, and she read out my personal details such as bank account and physical address, she asked me to confirm if those were correct and i did. after that she said they'll send me a card explaining everything. and now they are saying that they are going to debit R299.00, which i have no idea it is for. i called them and they said i am now a member and that was the joining fee! when a say i want to cancel they say the have to debit first befor they can cancel <br> <br> how do i become a member of something i never gave consent to?
