Horrible servies @ La Rocca Canal Walk

On Friday the 25th May myself & a group of friends went to have iftaar at la Rocca in canal walk. I called during the course of the day to make a reservation they said they don't do reservations over a weekend anyway that's not the case. eventually after being stuck in traffic since 4 one couple arrives there at about just before iftaar. during the course of the day I visited there Instagram page & came across an interesting picture that states "join us for iftaar this month & receive a complimentary savoury breaker when ordering after 5pm" that's all the caption states & photo. the savoury breaker includes dates, faloda & samosa's. which in fact made us chose this restaurant in the 1st place. anyways this couple, my friends were sitting & waiting for the rest of us to arrive & waiting for a table to open as well as the restaurant was packed at the moment. As you know us Muslims are currently in the month of Ramadan & had been fasting the entire day la Rocca being a Muslim restaurant would not even offer my friend & her fiancé some water or a date to break their fast. I mean really yes the add says with every meal but do you really think they'll be sitting there so damn long waiting for a table of a group of 8 & not order a meal common that's common sense man. anyways eventually after going to get something to break their fast we finally got a table @ 18:55 the waiter then comes & take our order. Myself & my friend then enquirers about the savoury breaker as we just ordered the meals the waiter says no it’s too late. its only at 5pm, I then told her the picture & add does not say at 5pm on the dot it says after 5pm with every meal if I’m not mistaken which means to be it’s with every meal as of 5pm right? she then says she will go an ask the manager I then asked her to please call him. we literally saw her call & speak to him he shouted at her saying it too late & walked away while we staring & looking at him he never ever came to our table to apologize for any inconvenience or anything at all we then left is as its the month of Ramadan & we trying to abstain away from anger. like if he just came to our table & explained himself it would have not been such an issue. anyways this sweet innocent waiter then comes & says she will check what they have left she then brought us some dates as we were dying hungry. eventually our food came it was defiantly worth that wait & unpleasantness service at all. our bill then came to over a thousand for such ****ty services. I'm so disappointed. PS: the manager name was Tauriq.
