No etiquette

Yesterday afternoon at 15H00pm my partner and myself decided have lunch at La Playa.<br> <br> I was really excited as I have never been there yet, She literally forced me to go and try there food and check out the menu.<br> <br> Firstly the hostess I would say, much respect for trying to help us out but really! she Is a hostess NOT a WAITER! I have worked In the Restaurant Industry for 1 year and 6 Months and even the runners back then could do a better job than Le Playa Waiters.<br> <br> We were In the smoking area ordered drinks only 1 was received which was mine half full and my partner was sitting for 20 minutes and no sign of our waiter. The Restaurant was not even that busy, I had my hand out for attention and was just Ignored! even by other staff...<br> <br> I got up and left, the waiter in the smoking area was so rude not even to try and help or even apologize for making us wait. I paid R34 for a half Peroni, We never ate, my partner never had a drink, No 1 even noticed we were actually clients of La Playa. (No the waiter could not of been spinning)<br> <br> My worst experience Ever to have happened at a so called 5 star restaurant .<br> <br> I would like to see If I even get a response to this email.
